Due to the ambiguous legal status of direct-entry midwives in Georgia the midwives are at risk. 

I have recently been investigated by both the Medical Board and a local county district attorney for practicing midwifery.  

Fortunately both these investigations have been closed but the legal fees were staggering.  If you feel led to help any donation would be appreciated.
